Taking Measurements with Takeoff Live Software
NOTE: Takeoff Live is a third party software application that allows you to easily do blueprint takeoffs right on your computer screen. Takeoff Live was not developed by Allpro Technology. Our software interfaces with the measurements taken with Takeoff Live through an Excel Spreadsheet that is outputted by Takeoff Live. Takeoff Live is available for purchase directly from Allpro Technology.

Takeoff Live is the paperless way to make your job fast, simple and hassle free. Figuring how much of any material is needed can now be done faster than ever. Takeoff Live can use scanned plans, plan pictures you take with your digital camera, as well as .TIF, .PDF, .GIF, Dodge Plan files, ISQFT Plan files, Blue Book plan files, .JPG, .BMP, and .PNG.
Transferring Data From Takeoff Live to Allpro Insulator
You use Takeoff Live to take all of your on-screen measurements. After you have finished taking all the measurements for a particular package Takeoff Live allows you to export those measurements to Microsoft Excel.
Once the spreadsheet has been copied to your computer you can import the data into Allpro Insulator. This is a very simple process. You simply open the Import form and select the "Import From Takeoff Live" button.
Now all of your job measurements are stored in Allpro Insulator. When you import all of your measurements they will be summarized. For example, if you took twenty different measurements for four inch walls, you don't need to know the square footage for each measurement, just the total square footage for four inch walls. Allpro Insulator performs these calculations for you to help simplify the estimating process. This also helps eliminate human calculation errors.
